Dropix x Raspberry Pi: How to save gps coordinates with a serial communication

I’m a trainee in a drone company and I need to save the gps coordinates at an instant T. I have a Raspberry Pi zero and its connected in serial (Rx, Tx). if you have any advice or help, I would take it.

You can use the Raspberry as a companion computer, connect it to Serial 2 on Dropix and configure it with your GCS as a companion computer link. Your Raspberry will then receive MAVlink messages that will contain all the information you need. You can decode the protocol yourself (plenty of examples there : http://qgroundcontrol.org/mavlink/start) or use a library like DroneKit, MAVproxy, MAVROS, etc…
