Has someone already used a Dropix / Pixhawk APM on a glider (planeur) ?
I have a project including long distances, and would like to control a glider, less power consuming from my perspective.
There is some work on “soaring” mode in Ardupilot : http://ardupilot.org/plane/docs/soaring.html
I think that might be compatible with what you are trying to do.
Here is also other applications with ardupilot, seems promissing !
