Hi! We have a Sirius Rover F9P sensor with RM3100.
Now we would like to use it with ROS:
The GNSS part works over USB with this ros driver
How can we do the same for the RM3100? Is its data also transferred over USB?
We have only found the PX4 driver of the RM3100 here .
Do you have a ROS driver for the RM3100?
Thank you!

Hi there,
Normally, SIRIUS RTK GNSS ROVER (F9P + RM3100) is a plug & play device and the RM3100 data can be read via the QGroundcontrol with the help of an autopilot.
You can follow the link below, maybe to fix your issue:
Hello, I'm currently trying to set up a GPS receiver and base station my boss purchased to work in ROS. It is a trimble Ag GPS 542 GNSS receiver. I tried looking online to see if there were any ROS drivers already written for this specific model, but...
The data from the RM3100 is transferred via the serial port.
I hope this helps. Thank you.
Thx for your reply! Is there a way to read the output of the sensor without an autopilot/flight controller?
E.g. directly over USB?

Hello !
I have the same question : is it possible to have the heading data through the UBX messages in USB interface ?
I read about some “sensor fusion” mode for the F9P so I was hoping it was interconnected but couldn’t find much data on that.

Thanks and Merry Christmas to all !
