Sending gps output to can port

Hi
I have a multispectral camera that does geotagging however it gets the gps info from a can port. Is it possible to send the gps signal received by the pixhawk 3 to a CAN port which can be used by the camera ?

Thanks

Hello,

You can either send data from the GPS to your camera using the Pixhawk3Pro CAN port, but you will need some programming work to do so. Or buy a UART to CAN converter to bypass the Pixhawk3Pro and be able to feed your camera directly with GPS data like this one : https://copperhilltech.com/can-bus-to-uart-converter/

Again, you might face some programming issues when using such converters in order the interface to fit your needs.

To sum up, there is no trivial and easy solution. Hope you will get sort it out.
